First Family Day - February 18, 2008

Bronson will be 17 weeks - Tuesday, February 19, 2008

I was quite impressed with the scenery and the clarity of the photos with my terrible camera. We decided to take a drive out to Elbow Falls near Kananaskis. I guess we were not the only ones because it was packed - parking on the street outside the parking lot. How can you not take advantage of the wonderful weather - it was 9 above.

Valentine Berner Walk - Sunday, February 17, 2008

What a great day! There was such a good turn out of Berners and their owners. It was a little chilly but worth it. The dogs didn't seem to mind - it was just the owners or am I just speaking on behalf of myself.

Everyone has such beautiful dogs! What a variety - young and old, big and small, male and female, lots of black, rust and white running around! I am impressed at how well they got along - I mean the dogs of course. Bronson was the youngest pup there but enjoyed it thoroughly. I am certain that if it were up to him - he would want that type of action every day.

I, personally, had a great time. I would like to get together more often with the other dogs but where do you find the time. I guess when you love 'em - you make the time because it is truly an enjoyable experience. They are giving me the bug - I think even Grandma too - you want another but you would be out of your mind unless you live in great spaces.

16 Weeks Old

Bronson is becoming more of a dog. Yes, he is getting more out of the baby stage but with that comes a lot less accidents in the house. He is very sweet and his favorite thing to do is cuddle. He needs reprimanding every so often because he is teething so his kisses can be a little love bite. We still love 'em though more every day.

12 Weeks Old and Growing

Visit to the Vet - Saturday, January 12, 2008

I would have to say this was quite the most pleasant but unusual vet experience. Bronson was in his glory. Not only does he love Dr. Mark Norman but he had a playdate with his big puppies, Argus - male - 5 years old ~ 120 lbs and Magnum - male - 6 years old ~ 95 lbs. It was pretty darn cute. If you have a Berner or any animal for that matter - take them to Fish Creek Veterinary Clinic / 24 hour hospital because they know how to treat you and your precious family member.
