9. Bronson & Hazel - the twins.
Well it was a great way to celebrate the puppies turning 9 months old this past Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Silly me - I was telling everyone that he was a month younger. I guess I was looking for an excuse to say, "He's still a puppy!" I suppose I need to be concentrating on better training or more consistent training!
The dogs had a great time. Hazel and Bronson went crazy while Gus hung out - laying low with Duncan (Hazel's big brother). Gus actually had a plan - tire the little ones out so he can then get some constructive playtime rather than craziness. In some of the photos - it almost looks like he is laughing at all the madness.
Love the nicknames you learn from the parents - Crazy Hazy and Crazel - of course Gussy! Their names suit them so well.
All of the dogs took part in the pupsicles by www.petsorbet.com (Bacon/Cheddar, Spinach/Feta, Strawberries & Cream, Puppy Colada and lastly, not popular the Tummy Tonic). I got those at Tailblazers in Copperfield. I should be getting a cut - I think - promoting their product. Ahh, I just like sharing them. Sorry Bronson snuck all the left overs when the dogs weren't looking. He is a little piggish when it comes to food. He needs his energy and he proved it today.
Fun Facts
Bronson & Hazel do look like twins.
Gus is talented drinking out of the water bottle making it look like a baby bottle. All the pups had to give it a try.
Duncan is just plain sweet. And puts up with a lot from his little sister.
How to distinguish between the 4 dogs.
Bronson - no collar, all legs
Hazel - looks like Bronson but she has collar with tags.
Gus - black collar with green circles and he has more white on his face than Bronson and Hazel. He is also a lot larger than the twins.
Duncan - has brown leather collar and more hair on his legs - sign of maturity - I think.
Thanks guys for coming over. It was a fun day! We hope to do it again soon. I have put out there a temporary date if anyone is interested - Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 10 am. We can do it at my place again or someone else can opt to have it at their house. Either way works for me. I don't think the dogs care as long as they get to play.
