Lodges at Canmore - January 5, 2008

I highly recommend the Lodges at Canmore for a weekend with Family & Pet. It is beautiful. Dawson had a great time with the outdoor pool and hot tub. Bronson quite enjoyed it as well. Not so much when we left him in the bathroom with his crate on the heated tile floor that we were unaware of until we came home. He found a place near the door that was unheated but what a fright to find that out. You might think they would mention that. Good times had by all!

New Year's Day

This was a great day out in Bragg Creek. It was the only place to find good snow for Bronson to play free.

My Little Veterinarian

I came around the corner to see Dawson and Bronson playing Vet. I thought what an ingenius idea for a 4 year old. So sweet! They are going to be the best of friends once the nipping stops. How do you tell a 4 year old to stop running and squealing? Perhaps once the excitement wears off a little.

Love the Bowser Beds/Cushions

It is too bad that Bronson has already had a pee accident on his new bed! I must say I love these beds. They are too darn cute. This puppy thing is strenuous. I really don't think I was this tired with my son when he was a newborn. I guess because I didn't have to get up and take him for a walk to go to the bathroom. I have also come to the realization that I am feeding him too much. I was feeding him a cup of food 3X a day but I am going to start limiting it to twice a day. We will have to watch him closely. In all of the books it does recommend the breakfast, lunch, dinner but with this breed being so large - I don't want him to have issues with his joints growing too quickly. He is a lovely dog though and I wouldn't trade him in yet. Although there have been moments where I am wondering, "What was I thinking?" All is good.

Crate Trained - Yay!

Well I am excited. Bronson loves his crate! Not bad for an 8 week old puppy. He is crashed right now. Too much playing on the first night home. Gotta love buying second hand kid's sleeping bag for a puppy bed. Yes it matches the color of his coat.
